A client just asked about being able to create gift certificates than can be used online in place of the hard cards they sell as gifts.

So I guess, given we CAN add NEW gift certificates, that this can be done ... right?

If there are any reasons we should NOT do this, I'll take whatever feedback you got!!

That can be done and I can't see a problem with doing it - you can create your own gift certificates via the admin.
