The ect state templates seem to be incorrect. Some state abbreviations are incorrect and some are numbers. Can you help me with this?

I have just noticed it. But that doesn't mean it hasn't been happening, I just started researching after we had some packages get lost. We are on v6.6.0

That is a pretty old version but it's not something I remember being a problem. Obviously the best solution is to update the store but can you also give us a couple of examples where you are seeing problems?

Andy the states are not correct on the shipping labels. When I emailed Dean the shipstation developer, below is his response.

Steven,
This is an issue with the ECT database. You will have to edit that table to get the correct abbreviations in there. You may contact them on the forum to let them know that their state abbreviations are incorrect and some are numbers. They may have a fix for this. If not, they should provide one for you.

Maybe you can ask Dean to reply to some of the emails I've been sending him but that's a side issue here.

There isn't a feature for abbreviations for countries like Coatia etc that I'm aware of.

It looks like ECT has everything right and the correct addresses are displayed on the packing slip. Doesn't matter what the state abbreviations are because they are not used outside the US, instead the mod needs to send the actual address "state/province" field as the state abbreviation will be numeric in some cases (correctly so) and non-existent for countries like Japan and Croatia.
