That's the message you will get when you open thnaks.php without going through an order. If you go through the cart and finish the order that will be replaced by an order summary - can you check that is happening? Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

For the paypal, I went into the paypal account and got a identity token following the instructions on the page: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/paypal-payments-standard/integration-guide/paymentdatatransfer/ Then, I copied it on the paypal provider. Hope this works.
But, for the first error message, I don't know what it is.

Can you check you have these steps completed https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/phphelp/ecommplus/paypal.asp - specifically Auto Return and PDT ON The Identity Token field is optional and is used if you want customers to be automatically returned to your store following payment through PayPal. To enable this feature go to Profile > Selling Options > Website Payment Preferences and set the following Auto Return - On Return URL - http://www.yourstoreurl.com/thanks.php Payment Data Transfer - On Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

This error message, I think, does not belong to paypal.

Hi,
Yes, it is on. I did this: Log in to your PayPal account. In your Profile, choose My Selling Tools on the left. Click Update for Website Preferences. In Auto Return for Website Payments, click the On option. For the return URL, enter the URL on your site that will receive the transaction ID posted by PayPal after a customer payment. In Payment Data Transfer, click the On option. Click Save. Repeat steps 2 and 3. To view your PDT identity token, scroll down to the Payment Data Transfer section on the page.

Hi Gaby the message does indicate that its the identity token, can you try resetting the token perhaps there is a empty space in the front or the back of the token. login to Paypal and copy the token then try pasting it in the admin again making sure there is no empty space in front. quote: Identity token for PayPal Payment Data Transfer (PDT) not set.

I did all that. And now I get an error 4003!
Tomorrow I will try again to solve this puzzle. I live in Spain, my client lives in USA, puff!

Hi,
I reset the identidy token and now it is working fine, but...
The message from Paypal is this:
"Thank you for your order!<br /><br />Your order has been approved by PayPal with a status of "Pending". We will be in touch as soon as the funds have cleared"
Where can I edit this message and delete this br code?

Hi Gaby, it looks like the email sent from the cart after a transaction, you will find the text in 1 of 3 spots take a look in the admin - 1. Store Admin > Email messages >Email Headers / Footers: 2. Orders Admin > Payment Providers click - see full list then click modify on Paypal click edit Email Headers / Footers : 3. In the vsadmin/includes check for any custom text that may have been added previously I think the parameter was xxTousoo if there remove it and use the email headers/ footers for messages. It's in vsadmin\inc\languagefile_en.php - I've just encountered the same thing. I'd have thought the <br \><br \> would have been actioned by the server just as the " is. I've removed the <br \><br \> for now as I'm in the middle of implementing PayPal but, presumably, it'll be be overwritten by updaters and will reappear.

Because it actually displays 2x <br /> in the middle of the message rather than processing them and showing the second part of the message two lines down. Tim
