In Admin, I've updated the invoice with a tracking number however when I click on Invoice or Packing Slip to print, the tracking number field goes back to blank. How do I get it to save so it's on the printed invoice.

Thanks,

Marcia Henry

Hi Marcia

After entering the tracking number hot the return key on the keyboard and it should be saved. You should see the border of the tracking field red when you enter the number and green after you hit enter.

Thanks Andy. It worked for the Invoice field however it doesn't work for the Shipping Method field. I select USPS from the drop down and it goes back to 'Standard Shipping'. I would like the Shipping Method to say USPS.

Thanks,

Marcia Henry

That should work in the same way, did you see the border turn to green after hitting return?

The border turned green only for the tracking number. It did not turn green for the Shipping Method Field. It's blue when I click the drop-down and gray when I click out of it or hit the enter.

Can you let me know which browser you are using and I'll check for you?

That works fine for me - Can you make sure you are clicking on View Order from the drop down before choosing the order you want to add the invoice / shipping to?

I've tried in many ways. I clicked on it from the 'View Order' and edited the invoice and updated it. In that instance, the Shipping Method stayed however when I click Invoice or Packing Slip, the USPS is not there. It says 'Standard Shipping'. If I go back to view the 'Order Details' the USPS is there. It just goes away when I go to print.

For now...I've added USPS to the Tracking Number field. Hopefully, we can figure this one out.

Can you choose Edit Order and change the shipping method there and then click on the update button at the bottom of the screen?

I did that. I think I've tried all possible options. As I said, when I view the Details tab I see USPS in selected. It just doesn't show when I view Packing Slip or Invoice. I will keep trying and also try it in another browser later and give an update.

Thanks,

Marcia Henry
