Updated to 6.8.2 a couple of weeks ago, and it's causing a problem with my printable packing slips. For one of my suppliers, I don't actually "print" the slip. I go to the printable packing slip page, then highlight and copy the whole thing, then drop it into a Word document. This is because for some ridiculous reason, they can't open or print pdf documents on their ancient computer. Anyway, it has always worked just fine for me in the past. But since the update, when I copy and paste into Word, I get a horrific looking result!

This is how it used to look:

Why?

There has been a rework of the admin in version 6.8.1 to a table-less layout. https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=108657

Well, good try but no. It still looks just the same, even though I tell it to Keep Source Formatting.

Hi

I just tried copying and pasting into Word and get the same formatting as you do, I assume because Word prefers tables to css. Could you not print to pdf and then convert to Word from the pdf file?

Do they actually need it in Word? Would a screen shot suffice?

You do not know these people. They swear they can't print a pdf from their computer. I've tried removing my image logo and replacing it with plain text. We'll see if that resolves it. It does seem, from a quick tour of the forum, that the new layout is causing quite a few issues for people. When we have as many orders to process and send to suppliers as we do at this time of year, it's a bad time to try to be troubleshooting.
