Can more details be provided including some actual examples...

Does this only work on the product table or can it work with the prodoptions table so we can quickly add options to products?

Well what an absolute tragedy that it cannot be used with other database tables. Almost, but not quite, defeats the purpose of being a really useful tool, were it not for the case of having custom columns in the products table.

You also need a warning about using pID:Reference since although it works it does not update all the other tables that reference it which is a real shame... It really should update every table with the reference updates since then it would be very very useful!

If you need to update or add product options you need a third party CSV upload utility which are available here - https://www.ecom-mods.com/php-mods-for-ect/

Please ensure they're okay to use with the current ECT version you're on before you purchase.

Hi Phil,

Have you seen the state of the developers website? Not only does it look so out of date but the CSV utility says it is 6.4.x which is no use to anyone above that version.

Proper CSV needs to be be built in by default since it is such an essential tool and absolutely should not require third party tools.

Anyway back to the quick update there seems to no logical reason why it does not support product options... you would have thought that would have been the very first thing to have supported.

Plus the points I made about the third party developer are very valid and does not inspire confidence.
