Adding static content at a particular place on every product page is an essential feature that has been missing for a while and requires everyone to come up with their own solutions.

However adding content regions to the product detail pages turns out to be very easy to do, as documented here: https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=109179

This should really be a standard feature and Vince could very easily build this into a next release since it is a very simple but effective feature.

The previous post added a content region site wide to every product detail page.

However it is even simpler to add a content region to the product detail pages by category. i.e. add common information across a category of products

This allows a content region to be added for each category you choose simply by making the Region Name the same as the Category Name.

fully agree. We also come up with our own solution, but seems like it would be simple to add this feature in.
