What happens during syncing MailChimp vs the store's mailing list? Does the store's list overwrite MailChimp's?

If someone unsubscribes via MailChimp, the syncing does not then in turn remove the email address from the store's mailing list. Is this supposed to occur or do we need to do this manually?

The MailChimp list won't be overwritten but merged from the synching of the store mailing list.

If somebody unsubscribes from MailChimp they won't be automatically removed from the store mailing list.
