PHP version for 6.8.3

Marshall Ecommerce Template Guru USA 1909 Posts	Posted - 12/31/2017 : 05:35:41 I am going to update a client to v6.8.3 and noticed their server is running PHP 5.5.22. Is this a new enough version to not cause a problem? They are using PayPal, for what that is worth. PHP 5.6 is still security supported through to Dec 2018 but was actively supported through to 19th Jan 2017. Most good hosts support PHP version switching & if that's possible with the hosting I would switch to PHP 7.1 Steve Bolton, Lancashire, United Kingdom.
