I am getting yoursadmin has exceeded the max_questions resource (current_value, 300,000) when I am trying to update my website.
How can I fix this.

My hosting provider sent me an email telling me:
It has come to our attention that large number of messages are being sent from your account 'myaccount', which has negatively affected our network reputation. Upon further investigation, it appears that one of your scripts is currently being abused. This is against our Terms of Service.

Script is located at: /public_html /cart.php

In order to prevent any further abuse, we have temporarily disabled permission for the above script. I have uploaded the logs of sent emails in 'logs.txt' file present under '/stats' folder. We request you to ensure that no other scripts in your website that could be used for sending mass emails are present as these are not allowed on our network per our Acceptable Use Policy.

If this is your script, then you need to reply to this message stating you will take the necessary action to remove or limit the script's usage to follow within these limits:

200 messages per hour
2000 messages per day
100 targets per execution

If the large number of messages sent through your website unknowingly, then I would suggest that you please use good anti-spam measures, such as security image CAPTCHA or adding logical question in your website. Also, please upgrade PHP application, its plugins and components to latest stable version. I would also advise you of the product Constant Contact, which allows for multiple contacts in excess of our necessary constraints. Hi ecogaga, it can't hurt to make sure your using the most recent files these are available here https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/tree/5.2-stable I would also suggest that in you enable the Google Captcha feature if you have not already done so https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/admin-main.asp#recaptcha the shopping cart software is already scripted for it you just need to get the keys add them to the admin and check the box for where you want it to display (cart / ask a queston)

It seems that your site has hit a limit of emails being sent out by a bot. Do you have the client login enabled - if so I would temporarily turn it off in includes.php

Yes I have copied to my other admin folder.
I've disabled the client login temporarily. When can enable the client login . Is there a way to know who is trying to send emails and block him

300,000 exceeded queries / hour. Weird that exceeded 300,000 in the last hour!

That is a lot. Can you find out if disabling the client login has made a difference?

Yes it seems to be okay now after disabling the client login.

I have added the reCAPTCHA, put the 2 keys in the admin and uploaded the 2 files suggested in the VSADMIN/inc class.phpmailer.php / class.smtp.php

for reCAPTCHA when login in in admin, I keep getting this error
Cannot contact reCAPTCHA. Check your connection and try again.


Anything else I should be doing ? I have updated the version of the template too .

What is this , I double check the keys I copy and pasted in the Admin setting and it is correct , but now I cannot login.
in the admin with the reCAPTCHA enabled.

You can remove the recaptcha and then enable it again with the password rest file https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/troubleshooting.asp#php6

As per the subject line, it appears that you have set Mailing list in the 'cart.php' script which is in 'public_html' folder. I have uploaded the email logs to logs.txt file within stats directory of your account. If any new product is launched on your website, then that Mailing script will send emails regarding the new product. Please limit the script's usage to follow within these limits:

200 messages per hour
2000 messages per day
100 targets per execution

Once you have taken the necessary action, please get back to us. We will review your account and enable the permission for the script.

Apologize for not explaining.
My network provider has suspended my account and according to them there is a script (cart.php ) that sent emails thousands of time . This is the reason that disable the cart.php. There is no custom script in my cart.php .

It is back now after I explained what happened.

So it was a misunderstanding from your host but all is good now?

However they said , --In addition to this, I would also suggest that, it might be a good time to review your applications/scripts to make sure they are up to date with latest patche.

Any recommendations to prevent this in the future aside from updating the script, implementing CAPTCHA and adding the 2 scripts class.phpmailer.php and class.smtp.php
