I just had this site transferred (thesolidmount dot com) the ssl on the front page works however anything past that get this error...

I can not access control panel same error

I do know the site was running php5.5 now on php7.0 also it is due for an update but did not want to complicate issues or that might be the fix :).

I would run the updater on the site and then you can be sure the admin files and database are on the same version.

Yes that worked it tuned out they had the wrong store database pointed to the store all is good.
