Hi,

I recently had the digidownload addon installed, I noticed that when doing an order and decide to pay via an EFT(Email) the client is redirected to the thanks.asp page and the download is made available without me having to manually authorize the order.

How can I make the download link available only after I authorized it in backoffice?

Thanks
Gidion Lubbe

Kind Regards

Hi Gidion

It's not really advisable to have Email as a payment option if you are using digital downloads for the problem you mention. You could set the order status to something less than 3 but that will affect all orders made using Email as the payment method

Hi,

Unfortunatly my customers prefers using the eft method. I added the orderstatus line to my includes files, however its still giving me the donwload link.

Here I added it to my file:

' Email Options

useemailfriend=TRUE
useaskaquestion=TRUE
inlinepopups=TRUE
htmlemails=TRUE
emailorderstatus=1

' Store Addons

digidownloads=TRUE
digidownloadsecerete="kjh4klj43lkjh42324kljh289"
digidownloadwarn=TRUE
digidownloadmethod="aspupload"
digidownloademail="Your products can be downloaded for the next 3 days by going to the URL%nl%http://www.yoursite.com/latedownload.asp?ordid=%orderid%&pass=%password%%nl%Or alternatively, go to the URL%nl%http://www.yoursite.com/latedownload.asp%nl%"
digidownloaddays=10

My mistake then, I thought that setting emailorderstatus=2 would give you an unauthorized order on the thanks page too. Sorry but I can't see a way of not allowing downloads if you have Email enabled as a payment method then.

Ok, then a work-around solution would be to enable the late download option and remove the limited time availability.
If I set my email status to below 3 would I still be able to manualy activate(Authorize) orders so they can log back into their account to download from there?

I think even then using Email the customer would get a download option.
