I see that my order numbers just jumped from 10617 to 11617. That's back to back orders a day apart.

Any idea what's up with that?

Ok, then my posts in the thread Andy linked to will explain what's happening.
Over the course of several months my orders jumped like that about 10 times.
It did help my order count a bit

But it has long been resolved. I suppose when Servelink (my host) updated or patched things.
Since then, business has been good and we actually surpassed 100,000 orders, at least in count. Our stats show over 86000 orders, so I guess with abandoned carts and the order jumps that all adds up.

In the end there was no harm with the numbers jumping, other than what I mentioned in the other thread about us mixing up order numbers.

Thanks. I told my admin that pretty much. It's odd, and did confuse me when I had the same last three numbers on two orders, but in reality, it doesn't matter.
