Hi

Have you had any authorize.net orders go through this month as I'm wondering if the problem is due to TLS1.2 compatability https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=107642&whichpage=2

OK, I think it is down to TLS1.2 changes made by authorize.net and others as per the thread there. Can you ask your host if they are TLS1.2 compatible?

Yes, and they have made changes
quote:
As you may be aware, new PCI DSS requirements state that all payment systems must disable earlier versions of Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1. Authorize.Net is set to disable those protocols on February 28, 2018.
so your host should be offering TLS1.2 and it sounds like they are offering TLS 1.0 or 1.1 which are no longer supported.

Can you tell the host that you are having problems processing authorize.net payments and it's due to the changes they made on February 28 regarding TLS1.2 only support.

Hi it looks like your hosting with Gdaddy, if they are unable to help check with Hostek or Servlink both can even help with migrating the site.

I was on hold with gdaddy for almost 2 hours only to find out that the sites are tls1.2. Other thoughts, I'm dead in the water.

Just got done talking to auth.net
"I would work with your Developer to make sure that you are using an Authorize.Net Support Cipher since your Servers have indicated they are using TLS 1.2"

Hi the software is and has been compatible for TLS1.2 for sometime. This is a host issue that you need to push them however if your on a shared hosting server they are not likely to do much. You may want to look at servlink or hostek both are support all databases and TLS1.2 and offer migration services.

From personal experience, I would suggest move hosts to Servelink.
You can be up and running in no time and never have to deal with unknowing tech support.
I use go daddy for some things, but when it comes to my ecommerce hosting, it just didn't work too well for me.
Moving to a specialized host for just a few bucks more, turned out to be the right thing for my website.

Hi Like I mentioned both host offer migration with their hosting. I just did one on Saturday, dns switched Sunday and emails and SSL working today. What I do recommend when switching host is that you do not cancel the current hosting account until after you have checked everything is working on the site and even then give it a couple more days. In this case we are waiting until Friday to cancel with the old host.
