I see that the Manufacturer was moved to the Product Attributes.

So this lead me to a question.. I want to download a specific manufacturers products for a price adjustment, but the product data utility mod with the drop down to choose a manufacturer for export of products, no longer works since that change!!

Help!! what do I need to do?

Hi Michelle

In the product admin page on the right hand side at the top, choose Product Attributes from the drop down menu and then the manufacturer. You can then choose filtered ineventory from the left hand drop down labelled "Select Action".

That is in the regular export.. from the standard dashboard.

there is a mod for product data and category data that exports out the image column and makes updates easier as you can mix things new and old. So since the change was made, the drop down in the mod for manufacturer no longer works.

I didn't realize you were referring to a mod, you would probably be best speaking to the developer of the mod as I don't know how that is supposed to work or if there is a newer version available.

I see from the support forum search this is an ongoing problem.. so I have logged a support thru there page.. but I wish it hadn't have been changed to a product Attribute. that feature was of manufacturer was extremely beneficial.
