Hello there! I'm currently using 6.8.4. I have extra order fields set up in my includes.asp --

extraorderfield1="Company name"
extraorderfield1a="ShipCompany"
extraorderfield1required=FALSE

extraorderfield2="Alt phone or email"
extraorderfield2a="ShipAltContact"
extraorderfield2required=FALSE

These fields show up in the online receipt and the emailed receipt. They do not show up when I view the orders in my store admin with View Order Details or Edit Order Details. They also are not visible when I want to print an invoice or packing slip.

I'm feeling rather clueless about where to look to fix this issue -- any tips would be appreciated.

Regards,
DeeAnna

Hi DeeAnna, there is no extraorderfield1a or extraorderfield2a you can use extracheckoutfield1 and extracheckoutfield2 https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/ecommplus/parameters.asp#exorder

"... there is no extraorderfield1a or extraorderfield2a..."

Yes, per your code that's correct. The added variables are my mod; they aren't the source of the problem.

The real issue is I'd inadvertently mucked up the Adminorders.asp file so the Includes file wasn't being called like it needed to be. I fixed that, and now all is well. I am sorry to have bothered you.

"...you can use extracheckoutfield1 and extracheckoutfield2..."

That wouldn't really work, because these fields are part of the "additional information" section, not as part of the address info. I want my customers to have the option to include a different company name and alternate contact info for each address.

Thank you for your time, Marlene -- I appreciate your reply.

Regards,
DeeAnna
