After a successfully order payment using paypal customers are redirected back to the carts thanks.php page where the thanks page is reporting the following problem.

Identity token for PayPal Payment Data Transfer (PDT) not set.

The payment does go through and the order is listed in the view orders of the admin area.

How do I correct this - Identity token for PayPal Payment Data Transfer (PDT) not set. - so that the tahnks.php reports back to the customer all is will with the order and payment?
