As it is now, when someone is logged in, they see their discounted price for everything (something that's $5 shows as $4.50) but any further discounts (like sales) show as a lump sum total at checkout. Is there a way for each item to display the total discounted price? For instance, if we had a 10% Off sale, a $5 item would show as $4.05 for a member who already gets 10% off?

There's not a feature for that. Some discounts might kick in when some sort of threshold is reached, like amount purchased so it's not really viable.
