Hello. I just installed a new store and while I am testing it out, I noticed I cannot checkout. Each time I click the checkout button, a window pops up saying:

The information you have entered on this page will be sent over an insecure connection and could be read by a third party.
Are you sure you want to send this information?

Continue or Cancel

My test install site is running under SSL, so what would cause this? Also, if I click continue, nothing seems to happen.

Thanks

jerry

Hi Jerry

Can you let us know the URL so we can take a look?

Hi Jerry

Looking in the source there are 9 href to http:store.jawd.us - I would change those to https

I've captured a screen video of what happens -https://www.dropbox.com/s/nxhuxft3r6pmd4d/jawd-screen-2.avi?dl=0 When clicking the checkout button it keeps returning back to the contents of the cart page. Are customers forced to create an account before being allowed through the checkout?

HI Jerry

Can you make sure the Store URL and the HTTPS URL in the main admin settings are both set to the HTTPS form of the URL and are identical ie both with or both without the "www"?

I made the change and now seems to work. Thanks for pointing out my blunder. I could have sworn I had them both set to https. Oh well. Thanks again. I will continue testing it out.
