I set the new drop-down boxes for the Breadcrumbs now available in v6.9.4. They work great and add more navigation to the page, excellent addition.

I'm wondering if these drop-down boxes can be edited via css..? (i.e - size, background color)

Hi 1234
Yes, you have the class...
select.breadcrumbcats
...and you can style them by adding to your site style sheet.
We're glad you like the new feature too and thanks for saying!

I like this also, quite clever. It does not seem to work on my site however - if I choose a category of products, it shows All Products then the drop-down dialog next to that label. But if I choose one of the other categories from there, it does not update. I even tried hitting the enter key, and tried it in both Chrome and Internet Explorer. Is there another setting besides that in includes.asp?

Thank you,
Steve

Hi Steve

You shouldn't need anything else in includes.asp other than

dynamicbreadcrumbs=TRUE

Can you show the URL so we can take a look?

I found your site and it seems you are missing this line in the HEAD section of your pages

<script type="text/javascript" src="/js/ectcart.js"></script>

You need to upload ectcart.js to the /js/ folder and link to it from your store pages https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=110209

The file is available in the updater.

Thank you Andy - the .js file is/was there. I had cart problems and an inability to load giant images, but resolved that. I recall the instructions not being specific about what files should have that line. Is there a list, or is it all the .asp pages?

Thank you,
Steve

Hi Steve

You have this line on proddetail.asp

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/ectcart.js"></script>

but it's missing from products.asp and categories.asp.

I would actually add it to all the main frontend store pages as its use may extend over time, so that would be cart.asp, categories.asp, clientlogin.asp, products.asp, proddetail.asp, search.asp and thanks.asp as a minimum but if you're using Dreamweaver or Expression web with a dwt file, I would add the line to the dwt file so all pages are included.
