Its been reported to me that customers have complained that they are not receiving the automatic emails with the tracking numbers for their shipments. I would like clarification that I have this setup properly.
In my Order Status page I have several custom statuses checked for "Send Email" (but not all).
My View Orders page, has a "Email Status Change" checkbox but its not checked by default.
The config property "alwaysemailstatus" is not present in my includes.asp file. My understanding is this controls "Email Status Change" and will default the box to being checked; I would prefer not to do this, rather I would like it to detect the setting for each order status.
I don't see any documentation for the "Send Email" checkbox on Order Status Admin page, or its interaction with "Email Status Change" on the view orders page. Does "Email Status Change" checkbox override the "Send Email" settings for my order status, or how does this interaction work?
