Is there a way to have the customers name and address info stay populated if the customer goes back to add more items? Getting complaints that if they leave the cart and come back they have re-renter all of their info again.

Hi Mark

If they entered their details, checked the Remember Me then submit I think the details would remain, or of course if they were using the customer login but otherwise I can't see a way of doing that.

Would there be a way to have remember me ticked as default?

I don't think that would be allowed under GPDR rules now.

That is correct.

I spoke with an adviser at the UK Information Commisioners Office in Wilmslow in late June on behalf of a client of mine on exactly this point and was advised that it would breach the GDPR regs.

PS - That was in relation to another shopping cart
