Hello,

Just did a much much much overdue update (php now v 6.9.4). Now we are not getting order notification emails and the customer is not getting emails.

Where do I start to fix this please?

Hi

Were you using PHP Mailer before updating do you know? That is now set in the amin admin settings of the store control panel so can you check what you have set there?

I have found that if you do something in store admin / main settings, you have to reenter your email password to get the email working again. I know I have had
to do this several times on my sites to keep email working. Even if you enter the page I have had this happen. Might want to check it.

Do you mean store admin> main settings? The email address is entered and it is set to use default php mail.

I do not see email password like mdolson981 mentioned

Can you change that in the drop down menu to use PHP Mailer?

Do I need to enter port and password etc? Are those settings the same as the ones I would use to set up an email account in outlook?

They would be the ones you had in includes.php for the PHP Mailer set up previously. Let us know how that goes.
