Hi,

I am adding PayPal Express as a payment method but the standard pill shaped button doesn't really fit with our site and would like to change to the rect shape as shown here:
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/how-to/customize-button/#button-styles

I thought this would be a straight forward change in inccart.php but the only paypal.Button.render I can find looks to be for Braintree.

I would really like to use a rect button as shown in the link above as it matches our site buttons shape.

Please could you point me in the right direction as to where this change needs to be made?

Regards,
David

Hi David

I need to double check that for you but I'm not sure there is a simple method of changing that button.

I just wanted to be sure I hadn't missed a setting but looking the button is hard coded in inccart.php

<input type="image" src="https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_xpressCheckoutsm.gif

so other than editing the code there isn't a switch or anything to change buttons I'm afraid.

Hi Andy,

Yes I had seen that but was hoping there was something we could use to call a different button from PayPal as the new ones look a lot more modern and I see a lot of stores using them now when I am shopping online and PayPal Express is an option.

Thanks for taking a look.
I will see if anything can be done there.

Regards,
David
