Hello,
Is there any issues changing a current cart (from you guys) from DreamWeaver to WordPress? I realize we have to purchase a new template :)
We're not used to wordpress, but keep hearing it's much better, is this true? Especially with the "mobile first" layout!
Pro's on Con's?

Thanks, Clyde

Hi Clyde

WordPress may have advantages if you have a lot of non-store content, like a blog for example but from an seo perspective I don't see there would be any difference.

Thank you Andy,
We just started a blog, it's simple to add, so no problem there. Lot's of work to do with it yet though :).
Yes, our main concern is SEO and mobile use.
We are thinking about changing our other website www.suitsyousexy.com, this one is not ranking well yet and we're not completely happy with the mobile appearance either.
I see a bunch of plugin's for wordpress too.

Thanks, Clyde

I don't think Wordpress is any more seo friendly than using Dreamweaver for example but if you want a change then there's no problem switching either.

Is it best to go with a free wordpress theme as you mentioned in a previous post or to buy a theme?

Thanks, Clyde

Some of the paid ones can get really complicated and suffer severely from code bloat, some of the freebies are less well put together so I would go with a theme you like to be honest and see what you can find, paid or free.

If we purchase a wordpress template elsewhere, is it best to but the generic wordpress cart?

Thanks, Clyde

Yes, that is definitely what you need if you purchase a theme separately.

Perfect, we like a couple of yours too, just need to make up our mind?
I assume it's easier to get everything through you though.

Thanks, Clyde

It is easier through us as the integration is already set up for you but in the end it depends on your tastes on the design side of things.
