Hi guys
Just upgraded to the filter bar2 (from filter bar1) - wanted this for the ability to have multiple selections as per your demo... but this is not working for me...
As soon as i select one of the checkboxes all the others vanish - see it yourself on my website (in profile) and /cctv-cameras.asp
I have put sidefilterstyle="multiple" in both my include files - but appears i have missed something, can you advise please?

Just tried that - didnt make a difference.
Let me just make sure I am not expecting too much here - when it said this could allow "multiple" selections - I presumed that would mean if customer says clicks my "2.1MP (1080P)" resolution option from the menu, they could also click the "5.0MP" option, so they could view only 2.1MP and 5.0MP cameras...
That is how it is suppose to work right?
I ask as it appears to work but only on the "Manufacturers" options in the left menu - none of the other attributes are working in this way...

Can you let me know what version the store is running as that may be a factor here? If you look at our demo http://ectwp.com/product/ and from the color choose "Black" you'll see all other choices greyed out except orange as that shows there is one product that shares the 2 attributes. You can still choose any other colour to display eg Black OR Blue. The greying out is a css setting so that would be up to you. Manufacturers are a case apart as you can only ever have one manufacturer assigned to a product but other attributes might have multiples. Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software |

yes mine is not working like the demo... if you go to mysite/cctv-cameras.asp
Scroll down the left menu until you see the manufacturers and then select any two manufacturers it works as expected (and as per your demo)... then clear that selection and scroll up the menu to "Max resolution" and choose any option there, you will see that all other options are then hidden.
let me know if you can think of why

Do you definitely have the new incsidefilter.asp in the vsadmin/inc/ folder and all the site is updated to 7.0.1 - for example can you check the version number near the top of the code in incfunctions.asp? Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software |

yep 'Build: 7.0.1.000
and just downloaded then uploaded the incsidefilter.asp file again - just i case... still all the same...
I will run another update as soon as I have a few minutes - just to make sure the update worked ok...

Hi Andy,
Hasnt worked - see mywebsite/cctv-cameras.asp?scri=28,49
The only one that seems to work is the "manufacturer" section - but even that doesnt work correctly as it never changes the number of items in the brackets...
Let me know if you are available and will email over the ftp details see if you can figure it out....

With regards the admin - the only thing that needs to be set in the admin is
Main settings > (under Configuration for side filter bar) Filter by Prod. Attributes: Tick
If there is more to it, then that might be where i am going wrong - let me know

I couldn't find anything amiss looking at the sites files so the only other thing to check was the admin really, making sure there that everything was showing as it should do on 7.0.1. Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software |
