Hi there,

My hosting company has recently installed a SLL certificate to my site and migrated it.

This has caused trouble with my site especially with my checkout to my Custom Payment Provider.
( as when the amount is coming through to them it is adding an extra digit on.)

According to my Payment Provider I need to change my sites decimal comma to a decimal mark.
Please advise which parameter must I use in order to do this.

Thanks
Miriam

Hi Miriam

Can you look in the countries admin page of the store control panel and check your settings there when you click on Modify for a country - it could be something like having a "thousands separator" set.

Hi Andy,

Just confirming is it the countries setting in the shipping admin. As I do not see a countries setting in the store admin.

Is it this that I must change:
Locale ID (Do not change)
7177

and must I change this to a 1000.

Not sure if I am looking at the right thing.
Please advise.

regards
Miriam

No, don't change the locale setting. Can you let me know what version of the store you are on and I assume your are using South African Rand?

Hi Andy,

I am using the ASPv6.1.4 version on my www.ironmongeryonline.co.za site and I am using the ASPv6.5.5 version on my www.bathroomware.co.za site.

Yes we are using the South African Rand.

Thanks
Miriam

Those stores really need updating but until you can add this to vsadmin/includes.asp

overridecurrency=true
orcdecimals="."

Hi Andy,

I have tried those parameters.
They did not fix the decimal problem and made my store products into US dollars.

Please can you advise on a good web developer I can use to help me fix my stores.
Also my custom integration had done with my Payfast payment provider is also not working properly.

My stores are in such a muddle since the SLL certificate installation and migration with Servelink.

Thanks
Miriam

It's just those two parameters so make sure you don't have any of these in includes.asp

orcsymbol="US$"
orcemailsymbol="US$"
orcurrencyisosymbol="USD"

Hi Andy,

I did what you suggested.
It has converted my prices back to Rands however has not solved my decimal places.

When my amounts are displayed in my PayFast payment provider they are displayed with an extra digit.
For instance an amount of R303.60 is displayed as R3036.00.
They said I must change my site from a decimal comma to a decimal point/mark.

Could it have something to do with this parameter.
orcdecplaces=2

Thanks
Miriam

Hi Andy,

I have decided to try and fix my problem myself instead of getting a developer in.

I have sent an email to support@ecommercetemplates.com to you with an attachment of a print screen shot of my vasadmin page.( I did not see a place I could attach this on your own email address via the forum.)

Please can you have a look at my vasadmin page and advise me what I should do there so that I can change my site's decimal comma to a decimal point/mark.

Many thanks
Miriam

I got your mail but it seems you are not getting my replies. Can you send me your vsadmin/includes.asp files as a text file so I can take a look?

I got the file and will take a look. How do you have the prices entered in the admin with decimals?

Thanks Andy,

My prices in admin are in the decimal points/marks not the decimal comma.

This what you should have I believe

overridecurrency=true
orcdecimals="."
orcdecplaces=2

If you are using 2 vsadmin folders for security reasons, make sure it is added just like that in both includes.asp files with no duplicates of any of those lines are no additional currency settings. Once you have that check your product pages so that the display is like

ZAR 100.99

Hi Andy,

Just adding onto my previous reply.

In my control panel.
In product admin the prices are in the decimal point/mark.

However in the orders admin the prices are in the decimal comma.

Regards
Miriam

Hi Andy,

I have done what you have suggested.
My security include's file is exactly as my vsadmin includes file.

On my website the products are still displaying with a comma.
Price: 264,00
264,00 ZAR

In my control panel in the stores order's admin it is in commas
and in the product admin it is in points.

I am going to send you another email to show what I mean.

Thanks Miriam
