We need to export our email list. We're going to try mailchimp but do not see the instructions?

Thanks, Clyde

Do you know how to get the email list that we already have to sync with mailchimp?
I see the list "Ecommerce Plus Database" in my admin section, but it does not show up on mailchimp?
I've created new list via the admin, they are showing up on mailchimp, but not the list with all our current subscribers?
We've tried to sync the entire list, it seems like it's working and says "operation successful", but the list still shows 0?
We also tried to sync a smaller amout (900) and get the same results, 0?
The list we create do show up on mailchimp, but they show 0?

Thanks, Clyde

Hi Clyde

The way to do it is create a new list in the mailing list admin, when that is created choose the option "Sync ALL emails (900) with "My New List" - if you do that and then go onto Mailchimp does it still show as zero?

Exactly, it still shows 0? We've tried creating new lists a few times. We even tried creating a new list via mailchimp, still shows 0?

Thanks, Clyde

Let me test that out here and I'll get back to you as there really shouldn't be any more to it.

Great, thank you... We need to make the transition to mailchimp asap because our server is starting to get a "poor reputation" because of the amount of emails we send out.
I tried selecting different amounts from the list as small as just 1, nothing happens?

Thanks, Clyde

Is there a way to export our email list to a csv file? Mailchimp has an option to import a csv file.

Thanks, Clyde

Yes, this is how I do it.

Click the "action" drop down menu there.

Are you referring to "dump entire list"? That sounds like delete to me??

Thanks, Clyde

That's the one. It exports to csv.

Thank you, I was able to manually add the list via download, but we still need to be able to create new lists as well keep the list updated when people add.
I just added someone to our email list but it's not showing up on mailchimp? So still no syncing with mailchimp in any way.

Thanks, Clyde

It is something Vince has been working on and is currently in testing - apologies for any hassles.

Great, thank you.
FYI, I also tried it from our other site as well as a different browser, same issue.

Thanks, Clyde
