These are the displays for products and categories, the images are nice and neat in boxes in the products area no matter what size the image is, the categories are messy and all over the place - anyone know the coding for making the categories the same layout as the images

I personally like flexbox - see Gary's post here - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/support/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=107608

mmm might leave that one alone for now - seems I have already done some damage somewhere cleaning up some other stuff - tried to add text to all category displays but now the category functions all over the place are going haywire - this one might be for the professionals I think

Thanks for the link

For now you can set the height of div.category to the tallest of your category images. This might help. With so much variation in those images, your options are a bit limited to make it look good.
It might be good to lay down some rules for your images.
When I create category images, I keep them all the same height and width. If they are an odd shape, put them in a white box that is set to your dimensions.
Check this category page for example - http://www.trophykitsdev.com/dev1/categories.asp?cat=Trophy+Parts+and+Components

You can also set a max height for your category images (with .css) to constrain those images and that should help.

You also could take advantage of this - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/CSS-Premium-Layouts

They look really good, after something a bit more basic but I will look around at what other add-ins you have in there - thanks
