Hello there --
Is it possible to clone an existing order within the Store Admin?
Some of my wholesale customers ask us to create a new order that is a duplicate of an older one. It would be a great help to simply make a clone of the old order, but I can't figure out if that's possible.
Thanks in advance!
Regards, DeeAnna

This would be a great option. I know on chewy.com you can view previous orders then place it again. Very convenient especially when you order the same product(s) frequently.

Would love to have this on front and back end. Front end for customers is more important to us. In addition and maybe related (front end) availability to edit items in cart (options)...

Thanks, Andy, for answering this question.
I've thought about cloning an order by working directly in Access, but the chance of screwing up is pretty high -- I don't think that would be a wise move. So I'll just do it the old-fashioned way.
Most of my customers are one-time buyers, so allowing customers to clone their old orders doesn't make sense, but I can see why other store owners would want to offer that to their customers.
Can this thread be moved to the suggestions forum? --DeeAnna

Hi,
I Highly second the request to be able to clone an Order.
My salespeople have been asking for this for a long time.
Thanks

One thing to think about. It will be important that the customer doesn't have to look at each invoice to see the items to reorder. Some customers have 2 to 100 invoices. that could be very tedious.

I have the same requirements. Get an existing order, clone it, change it, save it. Would it be possible, in admin, to have another dropdown after "Edit Order Details" that was "Clone Order Details"? It would take the existing order and change the order number, allowing other changes to the fields. Then "Save"
