Hi - I'm going around in circles trying to get PayFlow hooked up with my client's website. Every single time I test out the site after I talk to PayPal's tech support I get the same error:
Invalid merchant information: 10548-This transaction cannot be processed. The merchant's account is not able to process transactions.
----
Client is US based. I setup the payment option using PayPal Payflow Link. Is that the correct way to do it? I just want to rule out things before I contact their tech support for the seventh time.

It is a business account. They were also approved for PayPal Payflow. Credit Card numbers can be processed via their virtual terminal inside of PayPal but I get that dang error whenever I try to connect their account with the shopping cart. :/

That is a common reason for the error but sounds like it's not the case here then. What feedback did you get from PayPal in the past when you contacted them? I assume you've double checked your settings with the help page here https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/ecommplus/paypal-payflow-link.asp Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

Hi - after going back and forth with PayPal it seems to be partially resolved. They didn't have something configured on their side. I also needed to use a secondary account with full API transactions selected.
I now get an internal server error when the thanks.asp page should pop up. I have it configured with PayPal. It works if someone uses PayPal to pay - but not if they use Payflow.
Thoughts?

Hi - my host won't do that. I found a long string of code for the error and PM'd it to you as it has sensitive data in it.

Correct. I just tested it. The other payment method is PayPal express, FYI.
