Hi,
the update to 7.02 seems to have lost some database information. Some order history & around 1/2 of the client accounts no longer show. The site is not fully active so it is not a major problem but I also have a more active site to update next. I have database copies (Msql & csv) so could try to reimport. Is there anything special i should know before trying this?

Hi Martin

I haven't heard of any data being lost in the update before but as a precaution, and as you would probably do anyway, take a back up of the database before running the updater.

Thanks, I do have a back up copy. I assume importing the back up will do nothing strange to the updated database?

by the way... the loss seems to be related to time. It seems that orders & client login accounts made in the last 4-5 months have gone, earlier entries are still there. So about 6 client accounts missing & several orders. I have tried to find another explanation than the update but so far cannot.

I have found that the data is still in the database but for some reason is not showing in the admin

Ok, problem solved & nothing to do with the update... old domain details in db_conn_open.php
