Can someone please explain why my mobile navigation menu isn't working on the following test page. The links stay on the page but the hamburger file isn't there.

UPDATE: I was able to use the following Mega Menu. It was fairly easy to setup and it works great.

Hi Patrick

I know you were asking about jquery recently so have you made and changes there - looking at your code I see two calls to jquery.js from 2 different versions.

I resorted everything back to the original "Responsive Black Stuff" design.

Originally I swapped out jQuery 1.7.1 to the latest and the mobile menu stopped working.

So I resorted it back but now I can't get it to work even with the stock js and css files from your design template.

Looking at the original it should just need

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.7.1.min.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/responsivemobilemenu.css" type="text/css"/>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/responsivemobilemenu.js"></script>

http://www.ectdemostore.com/rpblackstuff/categories.asp

No other js files required (ectcart.js excepted)

Here's what I have now. Still not working.

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/stylesCombined3.css" />

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.7.1.min.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/responsivemobilemenu.css" type="text/css"/>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/responsivemobilemenu.js"></script>

That's very odd as there's no error reported that I can see. Did you put back the original responsivemobilemenu.css and responsivemobilemenu.js files from the download?

BINGO !! Thanks Andy for the direction.

The original js file was wacko.

Now I need to figure out if an update to the jQuery 1.7.1 will still allow it to work.

Haven't tried that yet. Will advise if not.

Thanks for your time.

There are different stable versions available, you don't necessarily need need to go straight to the very latest.

Well I can't seem to find the one that will work. PCI scan will fail if it is below 1.9.0

Any suggestions?

You could switch menus, a quick search brought up this related menu that doesn't appear to use jquery

I tried what you suggested.

It will not work without jQuery 1.7.1

Maybe just use a different menu system, there should be plenty out there. Maybe a mega menu?
