I really like the details button on the Quick Buy, but it would be nice to have it to be used independently on products. Many of my clients have multiple options so customers need to be led through to the detail page, rather than have a buy button. Details would work perfectly.

Love the cart and the numerous new features. Thank you for all you do.

Hi

Do you mean that any products with options should have a details button and those without a buy button?

No, on the products page, I have no buy buttons because I want customers to go through to the details page. On the Quick Buy you have a lovely 'details' button. I asked if it could be used but it is only with the Quick Buy. It would be nice if instead of clicking on the image or the title on the products page, we could have a button that says details.

Actually that was added some time back and I use it. More info here - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/css-layouts.asp#productorder
You need to be using css layouts (most folks are by now I guess).
quote:
In Version 6.5.2 you can add, "detaillink" to the list which can be added to the productpagelayout / $productpagelayout parameter to specify the Product Detail Link. The product detail link by default will be displayed as a link, but by setting the parameter "imgdetaillink" to the path of an image will display as an image. If you set the parameter imgdetaillink="button" / $imgdetaillink="button"; then an HTML button will be generated.
