My original thread dating back a few years has apparently been purged.

I'm bringing this back up again because a few customers have filed chargebacks against lost or stolen deliveries, if insurance hadn't been purchased by Them when offered I might be able to fight these claims.

The issue, when using Free Shipping site wide, they are Not charged for adding insurance, the system should be charging for the insurance purchase when selected, so I can not offer free insurance as well.

It seems like a simple fix, maybe not, but it should be fixed.
