Just updated to 7.0.4 mainly because I have been wanting to delete old, orphan images in my prodimages folder. When I use the database unreferenced images utility, it finds these images, but when I try to delete them, I get an error -- "500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed"
I also have some subfolders within the prodimages folder. I get the impression that this utility doesn't search inside subfolders. That's fine, but when I click the "change location" button to change the path to one of these subfolders, the utility simply hangs. I don't get any error message nor any dialog box.
Words of wisdom, please?

Hi DeeAnna I'm wondering if that is permissions related, could you ask your host to turn off friendly error messaging so we can see the error that is being masked? Just to get more info too, is the site running an Access or MS SQL Server database? Andy Please feel free to review / rate our software

The website is on Servelink. Is Peter still participating on this forum? I'll start a support ticket on Servelink with a link to this thread. It's an Access database. --D

https://servelink.com/clients/index.php?rp=/knowledgebase/29/Internal-Server-Error-HTTP-500.html I'd agree with Andy. I haven't tried this functionality but I don't see how it will work to delete without excessively permissive file permissions, that you wouldn't want in ordinary operation. Okay, so if I'm following what you two are saying, I gather the utility to delete unused images will not be permitted to function on my website. If so, then so be it.
But I'd still like to be able to browse to other directories and get a listing of unreferenced images in those directories in addition to the prodimages directory. That would be a huge timesaver even if I then have to manually delete the unused images. Any hope of getting the "change location" button to work properly?

I'm using Firefox 66.0.2. This morning, I finally figured out why I am confused about this issue --
At the top of the "Unreferenced images" window, there's a message that says this --
"Current Product Images Path: /prodimages/ "If this location is incorrect then please set the location below (relative to the site root) of the product images directory."
And to the right of the Path text box, there's a button labeled "Change location." I have been taking that label to mean this button will do what buttons like this usually do -- I should click the button, a new window opens that allows me to browse to a new directory, I find the new directory, click OK, and then the path is changed.
This particular button is more limited in its functionality than the norm. I realize now I am supposed to manually determine the path, copy and paste that path into the Path text box, and then click the button to save that path. The button is really more of a "Save new path" button than a "Change path" button.
That's why I was confused.

Yes, I can manually change the path, click the button, and the path is saved. No problem now that I understand what to do. Thank you.
