I just noticed a weird USPS rate for shipping a box that weights 3.52 pounds the box is 15 x 6 x 9 rate on the order is 22.05 Plus 2.00 Handling totaling 24.05. How ever when ECT feeds this order over to ShipStation the rate computes 17.61. we are shipping from 92804 to 17602. When I put this into the USPS Site as a standard customer no discount it shows 19.70 still 2.35 off of the correct weight.

Thank you.

I just had a client make the same claim ... I haven't received the specific order numbers yet so I can dig into it, but they said some orders are close, but a lot more are way off.

If there IS a programmatic error, it's clearly an easier fix! ;-)

Thanks, Andy ... I certainly will, if and when my client sends me a few orders to troubleshoot.

This is from their website pricing... When I put this into the USPS Site as a standard customer no discount it shows 19.70 still 2.35 off of the correct weight.

Can you let me know what you have in the weight field and I'll try it out here. Have you entered 3.52 pounds or is that 3lbs 5 ounces?

no on the USPS site I have 3 in the pound box and 5 in the ounces box. On the website in the weight bracket I have 3.5 (I see what your getting at and your correct) i'm looking at the difference of 3 oz. However, that does not matter when shipping USPS Priority Mail anything over x lbs. goes to the higher weight so 2.1 lbs or 2.8 lbs all charges at 3 lbs rate when shipping priority mail.

I just tested that here and get the same on the store as on the USPS site, 22.05

Priority Mail 2-Day™
Select a Delivery Option Expected Delivery Day Retail Click-N-Ship®
Normal Delivery Time Sat, Apr 13 $22.05 $22.05
Hold For Pickup Sat, Apr 13 Not available $22.05

How do you get 19.70 at https://postcalc.usps.com/
