Product urls

steven vaccaro Ecommerce Template Guru USA 1060 Posts	Posted - 12/11/2019 : 07:08:33 I recently switched to product names for urls. But Ive found products with different prod ids, and the same product name are having issues with related items. Example https://www.offshoreelectrics.com/proddetail.php?prod=Servo+tester the item number is dby-250, the related item is dby-250-test. If you click the related item it brings up dby-250. Can I do something about this besides rename everything with the same product name?

The system will try to get a product called "Servo tester" from the DB and will just return the first one it finds.
