I think I suggested this years ago, but am unable to find the post. I would like to see a feature where the Free Shipping attribute is bypassed when the total shipping weight is reached in the shopping cart. For instance: I offer free standard shipping on orders of $100 or more. This has worked great for many years. However, I have issues with this from time to time. Lets say a customer orders a 1 pound object that cost $8. I don't make alot of profit off of an $8 product. Nonetheless, all is good. However, lets say the customer orders 20 of the same product, totaling $160 and qualifying for the free shipping. I'm happy to receive the order. However the overall shipping weight is now 20 pounds. The shipping cost for that order is just about all of the profit I made from the sale. I've lost quite a bit of money on some sales due to the total shipping weight, but I want to keep offering the free shipping on $100 or more. I have alot of training programs, software, etc on my website. These items weight about 2 pounds or less, but can cost several hundred dollars. That is why I offer the free standard shipping. Anywho...I believe it would be beneficial to somehow bypass the FSA when a certain shipping weight is reached in the shopping cart. Just a suggestion of course
