Hi,

I'm looking at setting the product name to show in the URL instead of the product id. Is there a simple way to switch this? We have recently had our website revamped and have dropped ranking on search engines. So looking at our SEO.

Many thanks in advance

Hi Cheryl

There is a feature called SEO Friendly URL's and you can see info about it here - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/help/search-engine-friendly.asp#seourl

PHP Version - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/seo/search-engine-friendly-urls-php.asp

ASP Version - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/seo/search-engine-friendly-urls-asp.asp

Also in the ECT User Manual you'll find in chapter 9 around page 254 the full instructions for setting up - https://www.ecommercetemplates.com/free_downloads.asp#usermanual

Thanks Steve,

I was searching for something like that before posting in here (obviously searching the wrong thing).
