Hi,

I am getting the following error when tracking a UPS tracking number:

"An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security."

I am on ECT 7.1.8 (PHP)

Any ideas?

There's a possibility that the browser you are using has Do not track enabled. Try the tracking in another browser that doesn't have the Do not track feature enabled to see if that works.

That is an Apache server-side issue but do check that your .htaccess file doesn't have any silly rules in it. The error shows because the server is denying access.

I'm no server boffin but you may need to raise this with your hosting outfit.

Remember - Any edits to the ectcart.css file will be overwritten by updater's. ALL edits to ectcart.css rules should be placed in your style.css folder.

Thanks for your advice Steve.

I have tried three browsers (Chrome, Edge & Internet Explorer). All browsers had Do Not Track disabled. I will check with my hosting service to help resolve.

after you enter a tracking code then hit submit? If that is the case, it has nothing to do with tracking in a browser. This is a server issue with either a file missing or the wrong credentials in your UPS admin section.

Sinbad suggested asking the hosting provider to white list the tracking page. I did and problem was resolved.
