Hi,

Since upgrading to v7.1.8 the phone number is no longer being populated on the order when the billing details are sent from PayPal.

Admittedly we have only had a handful of PayPal Express orders as most of our orders either use SagePay or PayPal Standard but it's not something I ever recall happening before.

Please could this be checked as we need the mobile for couriers to send delivery SMS etc?

in your PayPal Profile go to Website Payment Preferences -> Contact Telephone Number
...and set it to "On (Required Field)"
If you don't set this to required then it isn't sent with the order details, and this could be your problem.

Mine was set to off so have changed to on (required) as you suggested.

I have to say I have never seen that setting or noticed no number being returned before but maybe it's because I am being extra vigilant with the upgrade.

Login to your PayPal account and follow the instructions below

From the top right > account settings > website payments > website preferences > contact phone number

So, my PayPal setting for requiring the phone number is set to On, however, I received an order on 1/22 that had xxx-xxx-xxxx for the phone number in both the billing and shipping information fields. The customer checked out using PayPal Express.

Please advise.
