Random errors with PayPal Standard SB

Posted - 03/30/2020 : 10:32:36 Most PayPal Standard SB transactions are completing normally however we have now seen three unauthorised transactions from PayPal Standard SB yet the transactions completed successfully in PayPal. The issued first appeared after 7.1.8 upgrade and has just happened again after recently upgrading to 7.2.1. The customers call saying there was a checkout error yet the PayPal transaction went through which we verify on PayPal. John

I asked the customer but they had moved away from the page and couldn't remember what it said. We processed thousands of orders using 7.1.6 without a single glitch so it is likely to do with a change made after that version. John
