We're setting up a client with a NEW First Data payment processor (also called Fiserv.com, which does NOT list EcommerceTemplates.com as an integration partner), and unlike the OTHER First Data processors we have worked with, this one required that the MERCHANT setup his own Authorize.net account, which we did, but then I had no integration instructions. When I called First Data support, they said to try the Authorize.net instructions, but when I did, I got "User authentication failed due to invalid authentication values." which I kind of expected because this is NOT an Authorize.net "All in one" solution.

First Data is sending me a PDF of the "VAR datasheet" which (I guess) maps fields for the hand off and processing, but WE don't know how to setup the Custom Processing using those values.

Any suggestions on what to do next?

... let me add that FirstData said they also support PayEasy, but I have been unable to verify ECT still works with the payment provider.

If you DO still work with PayEasy, what's easier OR recommended? Creating the FirstData script or swithcing to PayEasy?

Nevermind ... apparently we had TEST MODE activate for Auth.net AND the cart at the same time ... turned them both off and everything works as expected.
