With the current "virus" environment my client wants to be able to schedule times in the cart for order pickups to avoid multiple people showing up at the same time and being forced to wait outside for their turn to pickup their order. She is restricting multiple people in the pickup area at the same time due to coronavirus issues and is looking for a solution.

Does the cart have that capability? Or does anyone have an easy solution?

I am amazed by the amount of options you have built into this system. I looked through the list and got lost.

Can you offer a suggestion on which of the list of options could be used to schedule a time for picking up an order. It's probably there but I couldn't find it.

My client only let's one person at a time into the order pickup area due to the virus stuff going on. She has customers waiting in her parking lot trying to get in to pick up their orders and wanted to try to schedule times to avoid the confusion. To add to her request for a perfect solution she is closed on Thursdays (so no pickups on that day).

If you have any suggestions on how to accommodate her I would appreciate it.

I thought I saw a post a long time ago regarding a date picker at checkout.
I was able to find mention of it, but I think the original post was purged some time back.

I think Phil there has an add on that will give you a date picker in checkout. You can contact him by clicking his user name.

Other than that, and what Vince was referring to is likely text input option there - $extraorderfield2="Another Field"; - will add an additional field to the bottom of the cart checkout page, obviously the text will need editing here.

So you might try $extraorderfield2="Local Pickup Date"; in your includes.

Remember - Any edits to the ectcart.css file will be overwritten by updater's. ALL edits to ectcart.css rules should be placed in your style.css file
