Hi,

I'm getting this error in chrome (inspector) when viewing the product page (proddetail.php)

Uncaught ReferenceError: pIM is not defined

when I have 2 small and 2 large images (or more), BUT this doesn't happen with just 1 small and 1 large image.

This error occurs when I have one small and one large image, but have a product option:

Uncaught ReferenceError: ot is not defined

Uncaught ReferenceError: optacpc is not defined
at setvals0 (proddetail.php?prod=monitor001:220)
at updateprice0 (proddetail.php?prod=monitor001:223)
at proddetail.php?prod=monitor001:233

I have deleted and recreated the database and the same errors occur.

I have connected it to my existing database (from wordpress) and the errors occur.

I have also stripped down the javascripts to jquery and the 4 supplied by ect.

Any ideas?

Hi Ross
I don't get this on my test site here, and I tried the jewellry site you referenced and don't have a problem there either. Can you let me know the link to a page that is giving this problem and I'll try there.

Vince

Hi Vince,

the issue is caused when the include line to the incproducts.php or incproddetail.php in products.php or proddetail.php is above the call to jquery.

This is how bootstrap studio creates the html pages. All js scripts are loaded just before the
tag.

cheers
Ross

Hi Ross
So do you have a workaround? Or do you still need me to help here?

Sorry Vince,

the solution to "uncaught reference error" messages is to make sure that jquery is loaded before the call to the include line.

Everything now works fine.

Cheers

Hi all,

Now I'm getting this same error also. I have not modified any of the php pages in /vsadmin. How do I confirm jquery is loaded before the include line Ross notes?

products.php?cat=LED+Flashlights:606 Uncaught ReferenceError: ot is not defined
at products.php?cat=LED+Flashlights:606
(anonymous) @ products.php?cat=LED+Flashlights:606
products.php?cat=LED+Flashlights:616 Uncaught ReferenceError: optacpc is not defined
at setvals0 (products.php?cat=LED+Flashlights:616)
at updateprice0 (products.php?cat=LED+Flashlights:620)
at products.php?cat=LED+Flashlights:732

page is at: https://www.tek-tite.com/products.php?cat=LED+Flashlights

Hi Karl
You need to have the ectcart.js javascript file referenced in all pages and that doesn't seem to be on that page. Can you see the details here about how to reference it?
