Our client received Multiple order notifications for the same order#. The order was placed and successfully processed by PayPal Pro on 7/3/20, the day we received the original order notification.
Then we received the same order notification for the same order# on 7/4 and 7/7 ... ALL 3 order notifications are identical, coming from their Orders@ email account ... but while coming from and going to the same email address all 3 times, the FROM address reads the business name, but links to the same orders@ account..
I also noticed that the order status still reads "New Order" ... but so do other completed orders without receiving the duplicate notification.
We're trying to figure out why this happened so we know whether or not we should be concerned about the anomaly, and have also contacted PayPal with the same question.
