I got an order that did not show which option the customer wanted. When I tried to duplicate the issue, as a placed the order I can see the choice in the cart, however in the Admin the choice does not show up in the orders.
Does this option use the Alt Product ID system? If so, then the option itself is not saved with the order line as it has done its job modifying the line. An example would be a product "Widget" with an option "Red" which then becomes the product "Red Widget", so you don't need the option.
I am using dependent options. But I recreated the order exactly and I see the option correctly in my order. Also I tried to NOT choose any option but the product would not let me add it to my cart. I checked back and saw a few similar orders that also looked correct. So it is just this one order. What could have happened?
