Hi,

I have an issue with bullet points and text in product description as they are way to the left. I am using Froala editor. But it may well not be Froala issue because I try Ckeditor and the issue remains.

I don't see the issue in hosted store. In hosting store, bullet points and text are correctly placed.

See this link to see misplaced bullet points and text in product description: http://phpstack-473048-1484988.cloudwaysapps.com/proddetail.php?prod=SBfall20matteplumrosetumbler

See this link for how bullet points and text in product description are correctly place: https://rackmetro.com/STARBUCKS-FALL-2020-MATTE-PLUM-ROSE-STAINLESS-STEEL-TUMBLER-VENTI-24-FL-OZ

Please help me with fixing the issue. I am in the middle of moving from a hosted store to a paid template.

Thanks.

Hi,
Can you add this line to your style.css file just under your entry for the giant image resize line you added yesterday

div.container_16.inner_main_sec ul{margin-left: 35px; line-height: 25px;}

I believe something about indent needs to be added to css.

Hi Phil,

I notice there is a similar in issue other platform - specifically Prestashop.

And their solution tis o include something like :

.product-information [id^=product-description-short] ul {list-style:inside}

#description.tab-pane .product-description ul {list-style:inside}

I believe you can do a code line similar to that for ecommercetemplates.

Thanks,
Simon

Hi Simon
I mentioned to you via email to add this to the style.css stylesheet (around line 36)...

div.detaildescription > ul {
padding-left: 18px;
}

...what you actually added was this...

div.description > ul {
padding-left: 18px;
}

But, you say even when you make the change I suggested it doesn't work. In the object inspector I can go and manually make the change in your stylesheet and as soon as I do that, it works just fine. So can you try making the change as I suggested and then let us know and we can see what is going wrong?

. . . and I'm not disagreeing with you. What I'm saying is to make the change as I suggested and then we can see WHY it's not working.

Things work correctly on your hosted store.

Wny don't do the same thing on paid template?

I have spent so much time on a matter that is so simple on other platform.

If this is not fixed in 1-2 days, just fully refund me.

I am not going to use this if it cannot be fixed soon. I have spent too much time on this thing.

Hi Simon
And now you've made the change as I suggested it looks fine to me and I've tried in all the major browsers. If anyone else can have a look to confirm either way that would be great.

Hi Vince,

How does it look fine?

The bullet points still go the left.

Show me your screenshot here or via email - what you mean by looking fine.

Otherwise, just fully refund me now if you don't want to fix it the way it is supposed to be as in the hosted store or other website such as mine lamsari.com

Here's how it was originally...

...here's how it is with the change as I suggested...

...and here is as with a suggestion by Phil who thinks maybe you want even more indent, that is increasing padding-left: 38px;

Yes Please increase the padding left 38 px as suggested as in screenshot 3.

" Condition: New Product " and Brands: Starbucks - should be placed correctly under the description as in in here (hosted store link):https://rackmetro.com/STARBUCKS-FALL-2020-MATTE-PLUM-ROSE-STAINLESS-STEEL-TUMBLER-VENTI-24-FL-OZ)

Condition: New Product comes from Custom 1 in product listing admin. You have access to the admin panel of both.

Thanks.

Hi Simon
Where you made the change...

div.detaildescription > ul {
padding-left: 18px;
}

...change that to...

div.detaildescription > ul {
padding-left: 38px;
}

If you want more or less padding then increase or decrease that number a bit.

Add the following to your style.css

div.detailmanufacturer, div.detailcustom1 {
width: 100%;
margin: 5px;
text-align: center;
}

Can you make it also appear similarly in product description in admin panel?

That is the case in the hosted store, where it also displays corrected indent of bullet points and texts.

Now, in my site, the corrected indent only shows on website, not in product description in admin panel.

NOTE: It does help when other people (other than me) do the listings.

Thanks.

That's just not possible because the css classes are not applied to the text in the admin, nor are the elements present in the admin.
The hosted store is a completely different setup

So, what needs to be done to do that other than addition to CSS ?

There must be something that can be done.

The indent needs to show up correctly in product description in admin. Now, the bullet points are NOT even visible in admin panel.

Just because it is not a hosted store, it does not mean that mistakes should tolerated at all.

Really, your reply is simply NOT acceptable.
