No receipts for Square sand box testing?

Posted - 09/24/2020 : 08:13:54 Doing some test sandbox transactions with square and there is a strange popup that shows success but no thanks.page or receipt or email receipt for the customer.... Is this normal just for the sandbox??? Also the test transactions show 1:1 for AVS and CVV is this a sandbox thing or do square do something different? Will the production transactions work in the normal way going to the thanks page and generating all the order receipts and what will the AVS CVV codes be? Many thanks, John
Vince Administrator 42874 Posts	Posted - 09/25/2020 : 05:22:06 The sandbox credentials are different from the production so you may well get problems in demo mode. Can you not enable production mode for a test? The AVS and CVV codes are as returned from Square. We don't generally modify them at all as different payment processors have different interpretations on their meaning. A popup with "SUCCESS" and the transaction number then stays on step 3 of the checkout process with no thanks page or receipts. The order does show up on square and the ECT control panel. John
